This design was first described in my standalone Christmas romance, Love and The Irish Gallery. I’ve been carrying it with me for some time, so it was a joy to finally bring it to life. In the story, Marisol writes “Just Try” in glitter pen on Marina’s arm—words Marina later immortalizes on a hot pink t-shirt she rediscovers after returning to Ireland, eighteen years after her last summer there. These words are more than just a book detail—they became a mantra that carried me through my own days. When life feels difficult, I still write them on the inside of my arm (yes, in glitter pen) to remind myself: I don’t have to have it all figured out . . . I just have to *try*.
